So what I did instead was to use FOMM to extract the files then install it manually into my data folder. I am not sure but I couldn’t seem to get FOMM to install the mod for me automatically like oblivion mod manager did for the files. This mod does need NVSE (new vegas script extender) and FOMM (fallout mod manager). While I could also rationalize how my character would have gotten the vetribird, the motorcycle made a lot more sense to me. I wanted the vehicle to suit my character’s personality, skills or at least seem reasonable enough for me to rationalize how they came into possession of a working motorcycle. While that suited his tastes (admittedly, it’d be cool to fly around in a badass vetribird), it didn’t seem to fit with my style of immersion in-game. So when I found out about Advanced J3X Motorcycle, it was the perfect solution. If your character or NPCs had a repair skill or science skill of a 100, surely he/she should been able to salvage parts from the vehicles strewn across the wasteland to have a mode of transportation? There are plenty of cars, motorcycles and bicycles around the wasteland. The reason why I wanted this mod stemmed from the thought I had when I played Fallout 3. Although, that is the job of the courier to walk the roads of the wasteland to deliver the packages or whatever else. Nor did I want to rely on fast-travel to get around. Being a lazy person that I am, I didn’t want to have to run or walk through the entire wasteland.
